It all started like any windsurfers dream wanting to go Pro.
I started competing at a national level trying to participate in all international events I could travel to, including some events of the World Tour. From there on I began getting involved

in the world of shaping, making my own boards, for training and competing. I felt the urge to move to Maui, Hawaii to sail and train in the best spot in the world, and lern from the best, inside and outside of the water. Once in Maui, I was lucky enough to work and lern from some of the best shapers and board builders in the business; Roman Custom, Jimmy Lewis and Sean Ordonez among others.
A few years later, kitesurfing appeared. I started kiting and quickly got involved, and with all this, so did the need to make my own boards. From here on, after years of experience in board building, MKD Kiteboards was born.
MKD is supported by a group of riders involved in competition who travel to different

spots, testing our boards and materials daily, contributing to the development of our products througt their experience in the water.
